A viola

After finding out that according to Chinese Astrology, the year, month and
day I was born were all associated with the sign of the Tiger, I created this
tiger based on, but not created from, a photo of mine taken at the Philadelphia zoo.

Inspired by a photo of Baxter as a kitten (see Cats) I created a cartoon
version of him, adding gifts to create a Christmas card.
This was created completely in Photoshop. Photos where used as guides, but are not part of the final work.

Using a screen capture from I Dream of Jeannie as a guide,
I created the bottle in Illustrator, then transferred the file to Photoshop
to apply shading and texture.

Another Christmas card, based on a sketch I did on notepaper in college.
I scanned it into Illustrator, traced it, then colored. it. I added
ornaments and the cowboy hat to complete the work.

Two separate photos, converted to resemble drawings using a series of
filters in Photoshop, are combined here. The Cat, Kira, really was looking
at a toad, but a clearer photo, scaled to fit, worked better for this composition.

This was created in Photoshop, only loosely based on a photo taken on a
farm in Pennsylvania.

This was a combination of two photos passed through Photoshop's
poster edges filter.

A photo of a cheetah (see Wildlife) was processed to resemble a drawing in
in Photoshop, followed by background removal to isolate the subject.

I was playing with a photo of Misty in Photoshop, running it many filters
and combining channels, and liked the result.

I wallpapered a plain white toilet with some fall colors in Photoshop.
